Once Upon a Nap Kindred Stamps May Release

I’m so excited to share my card design for the May Release for Kindred Stamps! I was fortunate enough to be selected as a guest designer for this release. I designed a slider card with the Once Upon a Nap stamp set. With the sliding mechanism the princess dances her way towards her prince. I made the characters dance across clouds to match with beautiful sentiment. I heat embossed the sentiment with lilac pearl embossing powder. To create the card background I blended the distress ink colors tumbled glass and spun sugar to give a soft sky look. Hope you enjoy this card design!

I included a video to show the sliding mechanism of the card. Jennifer McGuire provides a great video tutorial on slider cards if you are interested in making one.

I used embellishments from the Kindred Stamps Cotton Candy shaker pack to add color and dimension to the card. I used copic sketch alcohol markers to color these characters. My coloring guide is listed towards the end of the post.
