My First ATC Swap Event

I decided to participate in my very first ATC swap! What is an ATC? An ATC is commonly known as an Artist Trading Card (ATC) that can be swapped between fellow crafters and artists. The Frolicking Fairy blog does a great job of explaining ATCs here.

Frolicking Fairy was the host of the space themed Kindred Stamps ATC swap. Details on this specific swap can be found here. With all of the fun and geeky stamp sets that Kindred Stamps makes I was eager to participate! If you haven’t already you should check out the Kindred Stamps website by clicking here!

For my ATC design I used the Space Heroes limited release stamp set featuring the Racoon and the Tree Guy. Copic marker coloring guides for these characters are listed below. For this ATC swap, I make 10 copies of the same design. I kept 1 version for myself and sent the 9 other versions out for the trade.

I used distress ink blending on the card background and the moon. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I added some glitter to the card to create some extra shimmer. Overall I am very pleased with how my first ATC card design turned out.

The picture below displays the beautiful artwork of some of the other swap participants. I can’t wait until my next ATC swap opportunity!
