Kindred Stamps November Release - Merry Whatever

Image
I'm back again this week to showcase more products from the Kindred Stamps November release. I have made four festive card projects with the Merry Whatever stamp set. I have provided a copic coloring guide for the characters in this stamp set at the end of this blog post.

First Project
This first project might be my favorite for the entire release! I made this card a light up card with the Pear Blossom Press Power Pack and a green light from the Chibitronics Tropical Lights Pack to compliment the "you warm my heart" sentiment.  I used the Lawn Fawn Push Here stamp set to create the "press me" button. To make the card background I used the Kindred Stamps Forest Stencil and the Gina K Designs You Warm My Heart stamp set.
Second Project
I used the brand new Kindred Stamps Snowfall Stencil and the Disco Fever glitter gloss to create the second card background. I used silver embossing power to heat emboss the sentiment. I distressed the edges of the card with some blu…

Kindred Stamps November Release - Born To Be Brave

Image
It's release week for Kindred Stamps and I am so excited to share what I made with the Born to Be Brave stamp set. I made 4 card projects with awesome images and sentiments on this set. Kindred Stamps also released a coordinating paper pack which can be purchased here.
First Project For my first project I made a pull-tab top-folding card in which the helicopter flies up and reveals the sentiment. I stamped the first part of the sentiment in a charcoal gray and the word "brave" in new england ivy green. I used the MFT clouds stencil and broken glass distress oxide ink blending to make the card background.  On the inside of the card I created the same sky-themed background but I put an army airborne soldier on the inside. Below the fold I stamped the "Thank you for your service" sentiment.  Second Project For the second card I made a simple army tank card. I used the tank stamp to create the background on plain green cardstock and to create the colored image above…

Art Impressions Warehouse Sale 2019 - Great Outdoors Watercolor Class Creations

Image
Today I attended my very first Art Impressions, Inc. Warehouse Sale. It was so much fun! I am a huge fan of their products and today I added a whole lot more of their stamps to my personal stash. The event was 3 hours away from where I live but well worth the drive!

First of all if you RSVP'd online before the event you received a free stamp and die set! I received the Critter Cup Valentine/Easter Set as my freebie. Secondly, if you were within the first 50 guests to arrive you received a free gift certificate ranging from $5 - $50; which added a nice little cushion to my spending budget. Last, all items were 30 percent off! What a great deal!!! More information on the warehouse sale can be found here.

On top of the great savings they also offered a variety of crafting classes and free make-n-take projects. I signed up for the The Great Outdoors Watercolor class and it was wonderful! I was so afraid to try something completely new but I am so glad that I did because I learned so m…

Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge - Day 11

Image
Really stepped up my game for Day 11 of of Kathy Rac's 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I made a handful of cards featuring the National Gingerbread Day stamp set from Kindred Stamps. I used my Copic Sketch alcohol markers to color these sweet geeky images. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and  X-Press It blending cardstock to stamp out these images. At the bottom of this blog post I listed the copics I used to color these images. For the holiday background designs I used the Nordic Winter stamp set from Gina K. Designs on kraft cardstock with a Nutmeg ink pad.
I also created single layer cards with these stamps. It was super easy to make multiples of these cards. I love the simplicity of these designs. I put the sentiments on the inside of these cards.

These awesome boxes contain all sorts of goodies including a stamp set, 6" x 6" paper pack, stencil, washi tape, shaker pack, sticker sheet, etc. This box even includes three digital images! What I love most about this box is that the stamp set includes BOTH retro guy team and the new girl team! I have made three card projects featuring the items included this spooky box. As always,  I have included a copic coloring guide for the character images.
First Project I made a mini card (3.25" x  2.75"). I used the slime cardstock and the caution washi tape for the card background (both included in the box). I matted the sentiment "the spirits are out for your birthday" to the front of the card as well.
On the inside of the card I used Lawn Fawn's Center Picture Window Card die to give a pop-up effect. I attached the ghostly character on …
