KS February Release: Birds of a Feather

Thanks for coming back to my blog for another month of brand new Kindred Stamps products! This month, my design team projects are a little different, no pop culture projects! Gasp! My projects feature the 2 x 6 Birds of a Feather stamp set with a peacock and flamingo stamp. I made three cards with this adorable stamp set. Check them out below!

Project 1
For my first project I made a fun interactive card in which the peacock feathers can fan out. I used a SVG peacock feathers file and my Cricut Explore 2 to cut out the feathers. I used a hole punch to create a hole in all three layers of feathers and I used a grommet to make the feathers movable.
Project 2
For my second project I created the dazzling background using KS Glitter Gloss and some Nuvo Drops. I matted the card onto a piece of foiled gold cardstock. On the inside of the card I stamped the "Strut Your Stuff" sentiment.
Project 3
My last project features the flamingo. I ink blended the background with The Rabbit Hole Designs swirl stencil and I heat embossed the "Stand Out" sentiment with some Brutus Monroe embossing powder.

The entire Kindred Stamps February release will be available Friday, February 28th at 8am PST/11am EST.
