Kindred Stamps June 2020 Release – Happily Ever After

Hi everyone! It’s Kindred Stamps release week! I’m so excited to share with you my first sneak peak from the Kindred Stamps June 2020 monthly release. Today I am sharing the projects I created with the Happily Ever After sentiment stamp set. This stamp set perfectly coordinates with all the other fairytale stamp sets from Kindred Stamps. I made enough projects to show off all of the sentiments included in the stamp set. All the characters were colored with my Copic sketch markers. At the end of the blog post I have included a product list of the items used to create these projects. Happily Ever After will be available for purchase on the Kindred Stamps website on Friday, June 26th at 8 AM PST.

Project 1
For my first project I used the Whimsical Garden stencil and Thermoweb Jade Deco Foil transfer sheets to create the card background. I heat embossed the sentiment “Chase Your Dreams” with a rose gold embossing powder. The character on the front of this card is from the Once Upon a Nap Bonus digital stamp. To finish off this card project I created a coordinating envelope with some colored cardstock. I used patterned paper from the Day in the Park paper pack for envelope liner.

Project 2
For the second card project I wanted to feature all the princesses from all of the available Kindred Stamps fairytale stamp sets. One way to fit all the princesses onto one card is to make a slimline card. A full list of the stamp sets and digital stamps I used on this card is listed at the end of this blog post. For a subtle background I used the Swirly Bits stencil and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide ink.
Project 3
For my third project I made baby shower tags featuring the sentiments “Congratulations On Your Prince” and “Congratulations on Your Princess.” I added the tiara to the top of the baby girl’s head and I gave the baby boy a royal sash. I used the Zip Gift Tag die from i-Crafter to die cut the tag shape. I used the color burst powders to create the watercolor backgrounds on the stitched rectangle die cuts. I finished off the tags with some Nuvo Drops for some additional dimension.

Project 4

This fourth project was really fun to make! I’ve been brainstorming this card for a while and I’m so glad I waited to create it with the perfect sentiment. To create the fireworks background I used the retired stencil from Echo Park and Distress Oxide inks. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. The castle image comes from the retired Park Cuties stamp set from Kindred Stamps. The fairy image comes from another retired Kindred Stamps stamp set, Never Grow Up. I put the fairy on a wobbler so she can sprinkle magic all over the castle.

Project 5

For my last project I wanted to focus solely on the Happily Ever After sentiment stamp set. I decided to make a fairytale bookmark. I heat embossed the sentiment “Once Upon a Time” with gold embossing powder. To create the background on the bookmark I used the Kindred Stamps Flash stencil and the Happily Ever After glitter gloss for some enchanted sparkle.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog! Check back tomorrow for another Kindred Stamps sneak peek! Let me know which project you liked the best by leaving a comment below.
