KS June Wacky Holiday Stamp Set - Postal Worker Appreciation Day

Kindred Stamps is celebrating National Postal Worker Appreciation Day (July 1st) for the Wacky Holiday monthly stamp set. This character can be colored to illustrate any delivery service or your favorite stamp company! Wouldn't it be fun if Kindred Stamps personally delivered your goodies to straight to your doorstep?!? I've created three card projects to illustrate such a fantasy.

For my first project I used the new Mosaic Stencil and Distress Oxide inks to create the card background. I love this stencil because it can create a layered design (like on the card) or a one dimensional design (like on the envelope flap)! Next I used the Kindred Stamper stamp to embellish the coordinating envelope and to add "Kindred Stamps" to the delivery girl's hat. I used a black ink pen to write on the cardboard box to represent Kindred Stamps' awesome limited edition boxes!
For my next card I envisioned someone waiting on the front porch because their package is out for delivery. I used the Stacey Yacula Studio Front Door Stamp from Purple Onion Designs to create the front porch background. I used one of the characters from the Kindred Birthday (retired) stamp set for the excited recipient. I put her on a wobbler so it looks like shes jumping for joy because her package has just arrived! I finished the card by adding the matted "Happy Mail" sentiment strip.
For my last project I made an interactive slider card. The Darice City Scene Embossing folder gave me the perfect background for the delivery truck driving through the city. I used the mini cloud dies from Lawn Fawn and Broken China Distress Oxide ink to create the sky background. To add the Kindred Stamps logo to the deliver truck I trimmed down the circular image from the Kindred Stamper stamp.
