Hi everyone! Today I am showcasing a new product from i-Crafter’s October release: Christmas Indent Ornament die set. Make sure to check out the other new products on the i-Crafter website here! I have created two holiday cards with this wonderful product. Keep reading below for more details!
Project 1
For the first project I created a swinging ornament using the ornament from the Christmas Indent Ornament die set. I used a piece of gold foil decorated cardstock from the retired Gifts of Gold paper pad for the card background and the ornament. I used solid gold foil as a matted background for the patterned cardstock. I die cut the opening on the front of the card with an oval stitched die. I also used solid gold foil cardstock to die cut the metallic caps and the indented center of the ornament. This ornament is extra special because of its unique shaker component! I used the Geometric Dimensional Dome to create the shaker dome area. This 3D shaker feature makes this card extra festive!
Project 2
For my second card I used the piecing technique to create the textured background. I die cut four squares in red foil as a pop of color in the card background. I double matted the background with solid gold and solid red foil cardstock. I attached i-Stik adhesive paper onto red foil cardstock and die cut the “Merry Christmas” sentiment. I die cut the sentiment twice for added thickness. I attached the sentiment onto a strip of vellum and attached it to the card front. To finish the card I added gold sequins for embellishment.
