Handmade Holiday Parade 2020 with Scrapbook.com

Hi everyone! Today I am participating in the Handmade Holiday Papercrafting Parade hosted by Scrapbook.com. This crafty hop is hosted on Instagram so head on over to check out all the wonderful creations. We will be showcasing some wonderful new product exclusives so don’t miss out! Keep reading below for more details on my creations for the parade.
I made two holiday card designs for this parade hop featuring a few of the new exclusive items. Both of my projects feature the new Big and Bold Christmas stamp set from Scrapbook.com.

Project 1

For my first holiday card I went with a winter forest theme. I used the Tis’ the Season digital cut file to create the layered card front with green cardstock and silver foil metallic cardstock. I used Pine Needles Distress Oxide ink to create an ombre blend on the front layer. I layered both of the die cut backgrounds on to an A2-sized piece of dark green solid cardstock.
I stamped the “Believe in the Magic of Christmas” sentiment with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder from Ranger Ink onto a scrap piece of vellum cardstock. I used some of the tree die cuts from the backgrounds to embellish the card front. I used a Clear Shimmer Brush to add sparkle to the card too!

Project 2

For my second project I decided to go with more of a gingerbread house theme. I used the Crate Paper Sunny Days stencil with white pigment ink and Vintage Photo Distress ink to create the ink blended designs on the kraft cardstock. I also used the Vintage Photo Distress ink to distress the edges of the various layers of cardstock used on this card front.
I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment with the Havana Red hybrid ink onto kraft cardstock. I with back into the stamped sentiment with my white gel pen to add the white details in the lettering. To finish this top folding card I added the red satin ribbon and bow for embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Check out the rest of the holiday creations in the parade hop on Instagram! Leave a comment below and tell me which card is your favorite.
