It’s the first of the month; therefore, it’s another i-Crafter release! Phew, this year is already flying by so fast! Today I am showcasing the new Easter Treat Lantern Add-On die set. This product coordinates with the Halloween Treat Lantern die set to make a Spring time decoration! Make sure to check out all of the new products on the i-Crafter website here!
To create this treat box you must use the lantern die cuts from the Halloween Treat Lantern die set. The Easter Treat Lantern Add-On die set only comes with Easter themed windows and other Spring décor like the word dies and flowers.
First I die cut the treat box shape out of pink patterned paper. I used the bunny window die on both sides. Next I cut two pieces of vellom to go behind the bunny shape. I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink to give the vellum a yellow tint. I used the same ink to color the flowers. I used Pumice Stone Distress ink to distress the edges of the bunny head and the cheeks. I used my Copic markers (RV000, RV11, RV21, and C8) to color the inside of the ears, the nose and the mouth. Next I glued the “Happy Spring” sentiment and flowers to the front of the box. To finish the box I tied the top closure shut with some yellow twine.
*Tip: You can fit a mini bag of M&M’s inside this treat box!
