Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today I am sharing a beautiful slimline card featuring the Wisteria Vines die set from i-Crafter . I just love the vibrant pastel colors in the background. This project is featured on the i-Crafter blog today too, so make sure to check it out here . First I die cut the Wisteria Vines design from plain white cardstock, then I matted the die cut onto vellum. I used Wilted Violet, Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks with the Japanese Kumiko stencil to create the vibrant, pastel background. I love the geometric pattern of this stencil. To finish the card I heat embossed the "Thinking of you" sentiment from the Scattered Thoughts stamp set onto a light purple sentiment strip and distressed the edges with Dusty Concord ink. I added the purple, pink, and yellow pastel enamel dots for embellishment. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. It's fun to think of alternative ways to combine dif
Hi everyone! Today I am sharing my creation for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #92 - Outstanding Occasions. This challenge closes on January 17th. For more details on my creation keep reading below. For the focus of this challenge I used the A Little Sparkle stamp set where two unicorns are celebrating their big day! To create the fantasy background I used the ink smooshing technique with Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Carved Pumpkin, and Dried Marigold Distress inks on a Puffy Cloud Backdrop die cut. I used foam tape to add more dimension to the cloud background and to prop up the unicorns from the background. I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder onto a white sentiment strip and distressed the edges with Worn Lipstick Distress ink. Next I heat embossing gold stars onto the card background. Finally, I used gold metallic paint to ink splatter onto the fantasy background for some extra sparkle! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope you enjoy this card. I love tryin
Hi everyone! I just wanted to create a quick little post to share all the supplies I used in my Kindred Stamps Facebook Live session. You can check out the FB Live video in the Kindred Stamps Fan Club here ! To create this card I layered black and lime green cardstock to add some dimension to the card base. On the top layer I used Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink with the Smoke Stencil to create a rising smoke design. I stamped and colored the mean witch with Copic Sketch markers. The colors I used are listed below. Since the mean witch is wearing a black cloak I used a vellum to create separation between the card background and the character. I used a Stitched Circle die to die cut the vellum and I used white pigment ink to blend the Spiderweb Stencil design onto the vellum. To finish the card I heat embossed the sentiment "How do you like them apples?" with silver embossing powder. I added red and silver sequins for additional embellishmen
