Hi everyone! Today I am sharing another i-Crafter creation featuring the Cherry Blossom Bursts die set. This card is also featured on the i-Crafter blog today, check it out here.
For this card I used a fun-fold layout and a simple cherry blossom pink and red color scheme. To assemble the card I cut a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of cardstock for the card base. Then I scored the cardstock at 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″. After attaching a decorative piece of cardstock and gold ribbon I glued down the 1 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ section to create a square fold opening.
I heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder in the upper right hand corner of the solid pink square. The sentiment is from the Scattered Thoughts stamp set. Next I die cut the floral images into the same piece of cardstock. I used red dye ink to add the ink splatter onto the cardstock and the shading onto the flowers.
To finish the card I matted the square with scraps of coordinating scrapbook paper. I also added the gold bow for a final touch of embellishment. I love how quick and easy this card came together!
